I know that title sounds like an exaggeration. It isn’t. I wouldn’t say I’m a coffee nerd or anything, but I’ve been chasing a good dark roast, and the Jerusalem blend dark roast is genuinely the taste I’ve been chasing for years.

With my most recent order I picked up the “falasteeni” coffee sticker too. I picked it because I’m proud of my heritage, the culture that comes with it, and the generosity and community oriented nature of it. The sticker made me smile so much, especially living in a world where we aren’t welcomed, or where it can be dangerous to be recognized. I am proud of who I am.

When the sticker arrived it was clearly very good quality. The print and image were well centered. The lines were solid and unbroken (like Palestinians). It was beautiful without being too much, just subtle elegance in the design. I was torn about whether or not I should put it on my water bottle or my usual travel mug. I chose my water bottle because I carry that everywhere. I’m absolutely planning on picking up another one with my next order.

From the moment I opened the bag I was like woah. Smells incredible, and tastes even better. Very fresh and arrived fast. I'm definitely planning to keep ordering.

My wife literally uses this mug every day while she's working with clients because she loves it so much! It is so well made, the design is beautiful, and it feels like a direct connection to Palestine with every sip.

When my new mug arrived I was thrilled! The images on it reminded me of my trip to Palestine a few years ago to volunteer at a natural history museum. The nature, the olive oil, the coffee, the people, the food-falafel at a stand in Bethlehem are all good memories of a country that continues to struggle. The mug serves to keep Palestine in mind and my strong belief that Palestine should be free from the river to the sea!
