This blend is inspired by Besan, a small town in Northern Palestine and also one of the oldest cities in the region. Its location, near the Jordan River and surrounded by fertile land, has made it a vital agricultural hub throughout history. It was entirely inhabited by Muslims and Christians until it was captured and occupied in 1948.
Besan, famous for its abundant water, beautiful gardens and fertile soil, produced everything from olives and grapes to figs, almonds, and hearty grains like wheat.
Imagine strolling through Besan’s markets filled with the rich aromas of fresh produce and sweet treats. Besan’s legacy is woven into every layer of baklawa, featuring flaky pastry drizzled in sugary syrup, adorned with crunchy walnuts and pistachios, and kissed with warm notes of cinnamon and brown sugar.

Great blend, very fresh! The flavors are all distinct, and it's the best coffee I have had in a while. You can notice the quality in this bag and in every bag of coffee.
The Baklawa flavor is so good, highly highly recommend. Everyone I have brewed it for is absolutely in love with it.
Falasteeni Blend Arabic Coffee with Cardamom is outstanding. The roast is clean and balanced, allowing the natural brightness of the coffee to come through without bitterness. The cardamom is used with restraint—aromatic and warming, never overpowering—exactly as traditional Arabic coffee should be.
I have been drinking vats of this stuff since it came out. Can’t say enough good things about it. Love it hot, but it’s also nice iced (esp with whipped cream and a little nutmeg or cinnamon.)
